DESCRIPTION
Ducts are used for conducting air in industrial facilities. Our associates have a series of sections that we manufacture entirely as they provide solutions to the specific needs of each installation, adapting to the dimensions required by the circuit.
CONSTRUCTIVE FEATURES
Each section of duct can be designed and manufactured in both circular and rectangular sections to adapt to any type of installation. The manufacturing system varies depending on the needs of the circuit. Depending on the characteristics of the plant, you can put conduits with helical welds or more robust by means of a longitudinal weld. The thicknesses vary in a range from 1mm thick for less requested ducts to 6mm thick for higher performance plants. We make conduits of various materials depending on the plant, but normally we work with carbon steel, quality S235 to which we apply a standard surface treatment. We also work with galvanized steel, stainless steel and other special steels for temperature.
The fixing systems between ducts are usually made by bolted flanges (see flange catalogs). Between the flanges we put a fiberglass gasket that gives the circuit airtightness. For other more aggressive conditions we adapt the gaskets with other materials and thicknesses according to the operating conditions.
